We spent 10 days here in July 2017 and it turned out to be a perfect vacation with relaxing mountain views, luxury room, and hikes out to Refugio Genova, Refugio Puez, Utia Ciampcos, Medalges starting from the chalet. Val di Morins (valley of the historic water powered Mills) is an easy walk away and the onwards hike to Alta Via 2 and Rifugio Genova was a highlight of our stay. On our rest days we drove the easy 30min to Brunico, Bressanone, San Vigilio, kronplatz... It was such a pleasant and relaxing experience with the perfect hosts that we are back again in 2018 with another 10 days! There are plenty of dining choices -Pizzeria and Restaurant Fornata is 5 min walk away and Osti Nicl, Ostaria Posta as an easy 7-8 min drive away.
